Short Term

Obtain a location that allows the AVC to:

  • Maintain an information point about the AVC itself and formalise the registration of members and provide personalised attention in different languages to neighbours who request it.

  • Provide detailed information requested from Mazarron Town Hall and the Department of Social Services, on the benefits and services available to neighbours of the Camposol development, as well as from other organisations, so that said information can be shared between the different nationalities.

  • Establish a Purple Point in the Centre to involve society as a whole in the fight against gender-based violence and to disseminate on a mass scale, the information needed to know how to act in the event of violence against women.

  • Negotiate with the City council the lighting of the accesses to the urbanisation itself by highway as well as the signage and access to the different sectors. Also the lighting that corresponds to those streets that depend on the public network.

  • Request the Mazarron City Council to authorise the installation of cameras and signs announcing fines at strategic points in the development in an attempt to reduce the uncontrolled discharges that plague the development.

  • Planning and carrying out a civic education for the neighbours of Camposol to help them comply with basic waste disposal regulations.

  • Request the City Council to extend the collection of green waste points, given the unusual saturation and the health problems and fire danger they pose, as well as to improve the frequency of their collection.

  • Request permission from Mazarron City Council to hold a police consultation, once a month, for the neighbours of the urbanisation. The presence of the local police will be requested.

With the help of the City Council, local businesses and other associations, to resume annual celebrations with the participation of the largest possible number of nationalities and whose organisation and management will be entrusted to a future joint Festival committee. We propose 9th May 2025, Europe Day.

  • Gastronomic tasting by country in tents provided by the City Council

  • International five a side football and petanca competitions at the Campo de Futbol on Sector D

  • Music and dance activities on Sector A

  • Music and dance activities on Sector B

  • Activity on Sector C (in conjunction with golf club)

Request the Mazarron City Council prepare a comprehensive multi-year plan for the paving of roads, streets and avenues throughout the Camposol development, as well as the repair, replacement and conditioning of all pavements in poor condition and the installation of road signs and markings.

Medium Term, in collaboration

  • Request the replacement, repair and maintenance of the bins and containers throughout the Camposol areas and improve collection during easily identifiable periods of the year when the existing supply is insufficient to meet demand, namely the months of July and August, the last two weeks of each year and the month in which Easter falls, as it varies between March and April.
  • Request authorisation from Mazarron City Council for the creation of 3 children's parks on Sectors, B, C and D of the Camposol urbanisation.
  • Request information from the City Council and Seprona on the legality of the hunting grounds adjacent to the streets, especially on the outskirts of Sector's A and B, which pose a danger to people and pets during the hunting season.
  • Request information from Mazarron City Council on the planning licenses granted for the commercial advertising billboards in Sector B at the entrance to the development and request the execution of the defects in the said licenses.
  • Request permission from the City Council to use the area adjacent to the dog park of approximately 24m x 35m, in Silvana Buxton Park on Sector A, to create a sports area.
  • Request information from the City Council on the ownership of the land located between the gas station parking lot, Tamaris Street, Avenida de Los Covachos and the social centre, for possible use as a promenade and/or park in Sector B that serves as a link between the B subsections and the shopping centre.
